This is the story of two Polish outsider artists living in contemporary Cracow, based on participant observation and ethnographic interviews conducted in 2021 and 2022. Both artists display their works in public spaces. Piotr Jargusz uses city columns designed for advertising to showcase his art, aiming to infuse Cracow with afterimages drawn from his own memories. Angelika Wojas, on the other hand, creates confessional banners using spray on canvas, which she hangs on fences and railings. Her goal is to reshape public space by introducing narratives that explore women’s privacy and intimacy.
